Harrah's January Poker Tournament I played in Harrah's January, 2006 poker tournament. Initially the prize pool was set at $40,000 based on 300 entries. They ended up with over 1,900 entries and raised the prize pool to $200,000. They had a 'qualifying' round, followed by the elimination play the next day. “World Series of Poker” Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Nevada Tournament Rules SECTION I – TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND ENTRY 1. As used herein, “Harrah’s” means Harrah’s Operating Company, Inc. And its parent, affiliates and subsidiaries including, but not limited to, Rio Properties, Inc, dba Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

Harrahs Poker Room general information
Harrahs Poker Room offers combined bonuses with other Caesars Entertainment (CET) properties. The Mega Beat Progressive Poker Jackpot and a '20 for 20' Freeroll tournament are big attractions for the poker room. When the Mega Beat Progressive Poker Jackpot is hit, all players that are dealt in — in all properties — receive a piece of the prize pool. The '20 for 20' Freeroll offers players a chance to qualify for a seat into a $20,000 Freeroll poker tournament by playing 20 hours of live-action poker at any Caesars Entertainment Poker Rooms. Offered every two weeks, the top 40 places split the prize pool and receive $500 each.
Harrahs Poker Room is located on the strip and players earn Tier Credits (useful for food and hotel room purchases) when playing poker.
